MAD HEADS XL join the Navy! When the yachts are caught by storm, you would wish to be on board that is not going to drown, and it’s better be a navy ship!
The band was recently making a new video for the Ukrainian folk song “Oi, zbyralysya orly chaiku ryatuvaty” (The eagles were going to save a seagull). The shooting was taking place in Sevastopol, on board of a navy ship, supported by Ministry of Defence. The result could be seen on TV in December, (now only a photo report). It was pleasant to discover that navy guys are not only high professionals and real fans of their job, but some of them also are good musicians! We won’t forget a cool trumpet jam session between 2 navy ships as well as a good time after.

Hi-Tech and Rock'n'Roll: a well-known sound engineer and musician Oleg White lost somewhere in Ukraine. We worked with Oleg in recording studio for many years, and recently he joined us as a concert sound engineer. For the last Saturday's concert in Chernivtsi Mr. White choosed to go by his own car, making his way from Kyiv with a help of GPS-navigator. Oleg's plan was to get to the place short before the start of our performance, and he arrived to Chernivtsi in time... only it was "wrong" Chernivtsi. High-Tech devise brought him to the small town by the same name, 200 km away from the city we've been waiting for him. Oleg had no chance to get to the concert in time. Fortunately, MAD HEADS XL show wasn't cancelled, neither it was late. It was saved by Stas Zahonyayev, a guy who had been our FOH engineer before Mr. White and happened to be "on the right time, in the right town".
Recently MAD HEADS XL got into the movie again. The guys played themselves in a film "Seven days before the wedding" (directed by Sergey Lysenko). As it comes from the title, there is a wedding in the end of the film, and the band is performing the song "Dubky" there. The movie is still in the shooting stage, later it can be seen on the leading TV channels of Ukraine and Russia.
Vadym Nikitan is back. Our trumpet player is back after 2 month break, as soon as 7 September in Docker's ABC you can hear the band in the main line up. We are also getting back to work on the new album and we are going to put all efforts to make it possible for you to listen to it still this year.
Earlier anounced for 30 September, the concert in Chernivtsi is moved to 13 October.
